MITZVAH - THE MUSEUM LOGO
The Jewish concept Mitzvah, "a good deed", is of central significance to Daniel Libeskind's architecture for the museum. The Hebrew word Mitzvah is literally stamped in the building: the letters in gigantic sizes form the walking area of the museum, in which the visitors move.
The Hebrew letters for Mitzvah are also the centrepiece of the museum logo.
The logo was designed by Design Factory in 2001.
