Are you a teacher?

30/04/25

Free course

Would you like to hold a meeting with the teaching team - and at the same time experience an inspiring, external learning environment in Copenhagen?

As part of our new teaching initiative 'Lilmod', we welcome teaching teams to meet at the museum. We will offer you a cup of coffee and introduce you to our teaching. And we are very interested in talking to you about how you see the museum's architecture, exhibitions and subject matter being relevant to the students in your teaching.

It is free to visit us with the teaching team.

What is 'Lilmod'?

In the Lilmod educational project, the Danish Jewish Museum collaborates with the School Service - knowledge center for external learning environments to create a new pedagogical and didactic foundation for teaching at the museum.

Lilmod is Hebrew for learning, and in the project we explore how the museum's architecture and stories can be put into play in elementary school teaching.

We are investigating, among other things, how the museum can support and supplement teaching in the history subject's canonical points of the Holocaust, the Jewish campaign and the August Uprising in 1943.

We focus on strengthening students' opportunities to participate in the museum's teaching and on promoting dialogic and investigative practices.

Booking : You book a free visit for you and your teaching team by writing to info@jewmus.dk
