Inspiration day for teachers

Come and meet the Danish Jewish Museum for a free course from the school service!


On Wednesday 2 October 2024 from 14.30-17.00 we are holding an inspiration day for teachers in primary schools and teacher training courses. 
The course is held in collaboration with the School Service Knowledge Center for external learning environments.
We look forward to an inspiring day with the opportunity to dive into the museum's rich universe and learn how we can integrate it into teaching!

 

Today's program
14.30-14.40: Common check-in 
14.40-14.50: Welcome by Janus Møller Jensen, Director of the Danish Jewish Museum
14.50-15.30: A bodily, sensory encounter with the museum. Joint investigations of the museum's space and atmosphere and how these can be put into play in teaching. V. Sidsel Kirk, teacher and educational development consultant in the School Service.
15.30-15.45: Break with coffee and cake
15.45-16.30: Danish Jewish Museum - in front of and behind the scenes. An insight into the museum's subject area and purpose through exhibitions, archive and collection v. Sara Fredfeldt Stadager, museum inspector, Danish Jewish Museum
16.30-17.00: The education project Lilmod - dialogue and cooperation on education at the Danish Jewish Museum.
17.00: Check out and thank you for today.
