Pesach and Easter holiday at the Danish Jewish Museum

04/04/23
The dishes are messed up and we need your help!

Pesach falls this year at the same time as the Easter holiday. On this occasion, you can come and decorate your very own Seder plate at the Danish Jewish Museum. We have come to make coke in the cookhouses and need your help to get the food back to their proper places on the Seder plate so the festivities can continue.

So come and join us and learn more about one of the biggest and oldest holidays in Judaism!

Pesach is the celebration of the Israelites' liberation from slavery and exodus from Egypt. The celebration lasts a week and begins with the ritual Seder meal. Throughout the week, you consume, among other things non-fermented products such as bread and beer.

Time: week 14, from Tuesday 4 April to Sunday 9 April.

Location: Danish Jewish Museum.
