Pesach workshop for children
Fairytale traditions

Join us as the Danish Jewish Museum invites children and their adults to a creative and fun afternoon during the school Easter holidays.
The holiday is on top of the largest, oldest and most important holiday for Jews - namely Pesach.
Pesach is about the liberation from Jewish slavery in Egypt. When Pharaoh would not let the Jews go, the ten plagues came to Egypt: the water turned to blood, frogs, gnats, flies, plague, boils, hail, locusts, darkness and death.
Inspired by the story, we make cool and colorful bookmarks! Do you want to make a frog? A mosquito or flies?
Once you have made a bookmark, you can dive into the traditions of Pesach with us. You can read and leaf through a Jewish Haggadah, which is traditionally read aloud at the dinner table during Pesach. And then the whole family can taste the traditional unleavened bread, matzah.
We offer a cup of hot cocoa for the children and coffee for the adults.
See you!
Sunday, April 20 from 13:00 PM-16:00 PM
After paying the entrance fee, the event is free.
