It is with great dismay and grief that we have witnessed shocking episodes in Copenhagen during the weekend. Both the attack against the debate event in the culture house Krudttønden and against the synagogue in Krystalgade the night between Saturday and Sunday.
Out thoughts go out to Dan Uzan’s relatives and friends and to the whole Jewish community in Denmark who experienced such an atrocity. Dan Uzan was a 37-year-old volunteering guard at the synagogue. We also send our thoughts and compassion to the friends and family of Finn Nørgaard who was murdered at the debate event in Krudttønden and the five police officers who were wounded at both crime scenes.
